Introduction
The Gabrita Wind Farm is one of the large-scale renewable energy projects that provides electricity to power around 142,000 homes and saves nearly 437,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide each year.
In addition, the project brings economic benefits to the local municipalities of Hitrino and Venets, as well as to the Shumen region, including the creation of new jobs during construction and operation.
The Gabrica Park will help the government achieve its commitment to the European Commission to reach a 27% share of renewable energy in the energy mix by 2030.
